Can you believe that it is almost November?!?!  It seems like school just started!  We are excited about our upcoming fieldtrip to see Junie B. Jones at the Davis Theatre in November!  I will put the student's fieldtrip t-shirts on them in the morning when they arrive at school and take them off at the end of the day so I can wash them and get them ready for our next fieldtrip.  The students will receive these fieldtrip t-shirts at the end of the school year (those who have paid for the t-shirts).

5th  -  Artistic Expressions Visit

7th  -  Thanksgiving Meal for the Students

8th  -  Math Night at Coosada!  Bring students to visit classrooms for different math game ideas!

8th  -  PTO Meeting (Blue Pods Perform)

9th  -  Cup Fundraiser Money Due

12th - Veteran's Day (No School)

13th - Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night for Coosada (eat, get receipt, turn it in to cashier for Coosada)

19th - Thanksgiving Holidays!!  School is out November 19th - 23rd

As other events are added to the google calendar I will update this blog post if it pertains to our red pod kindergarten students.  :)

• Team Up Against Drugs: Wear your CES, SEHS, or team shirts
• Drugs Make You Blue: Wear blue jeans
• Pep Rally in the gym at 1:30

Friday, October 26

• Costume Parade at 8:15: Dress in age appropriate costume
• Fall Festival Party in your classroom after the parade

Read for the Record Today!

Read for the Record - A huge thank you goes out to my friend (other daddy) Mr. Bill Roberts from WLWI 92.3 FM Radio for coming to read for me to our red pod kindergarten babies today! The book that was read was "Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad." Great Read for the Record Day! :)
