The end to another school-year is approaching..  It has been a fantastic year and my kindergarteners have grown and learned so much since their first day in my classroom.  I am so proud of each and every one of them!

Please see the following for activities planned for the month of May:

May 3 - Doughnuts for Dads
May 10 - Muffins for Moms
May 15 - GRADES DUE
May 15 - Shaved Ice in P.E. for $1.50
May 15 - Games Day!  Students may bring handheld, board, games from home to play together.  It will simply be a day of playing games and enjoying each other!
May 16 - Field Day!  From 12-1 (Outside Games in Back Field)  Dress comfortably!!
May 17 - Red Pod Kindergarten Honor's/Award's Day Program 8:15 a.m. (Brunch in classroom to follow)  Parents may come straight to the classroom at 8:15 a.m.  PLEASE GIVE YOUR CHILD A PAIR OF SUNSHADES FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE..  Bring your video recorders and cameras!  You're going to LOVE this!!!
IF YOU WOULD LIKE A COPY OF THE PICTURES AND PRESENTATION MATERIAL FOR AWARDS DAY - PLEASE SEND A THUMBDRIVE IN AN ENVELOPE WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON IT AND I WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH A COPY so you'll have all the pictures throughout the year.  :)
May 20 - Summer Celebration Day (Bubbles, Sidewalk Chalk, etc.)
May 21 - Movie Day!!  (Watching movies together one last time!)
May 22 - Last Day of School!!!! (Watch for Early Release Info)  -  Cleaning in room for summer break!

Thank you parents for being so supportive in so many ways this year!  You are all fantastic and without you it would not have been the same!!  You have no idea how much I truly appreciate the things that you do!!

April!  What?!

I can't believe that it is already April!  We've had such a wonderful year thus far!  Then when May gets here we will be winding down another kindergarten school-year.  It will be sad to see my babies go on to 1st grade but I will be proud of the accomplishments that they have all made!

April  9 - Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night

April 12 - Zoo Fieldtrip

April 13 - CES Spring Fling from 10-2

April 17 - Shaved Ice for P.E. $1.50

April 30 - DIBELS testing (make sure they have a great breakfast!)
